John and Jeanelle came all the way from Texas to spend time with us on the Medusa to see some whales. We trolled up north and caught an Ono for dinner and then found the whales. We spent the better part of an hour watching many whales breach, blow and dive all around the boat. What a great time for all!
Spencer Johns caught his first Ono over his spring break trip from Texas. Captain Lance put him on the fish early in the day and he did a great job in the chair for his first time. I think we have hooked another repeat angler on the Medusa.
The guys were out with the Medusa, Lance, and Steve one more time before they headed back home. They are leaving with snow on Mauna Kea, and headed back to snow in Indiana. Looking forward to having them return next winter.
Greg and the guys were back on the Medusa early this morning. 
Greg and his group have fished many years with Captains Lance and Steve and came back to Kona again this year during the Polar Vortex spending several days on the Medusa. The first day they found a school of Mahi Mahi.
After a fresh wax and bottom job, the Medusa is ready for a great year of sportfishing along
the Kona Coast!
On our first charter Captains Steve and Lance caught this nice 500 lb Blue Marlin for our charter from Minnesota!
